Description

Day 01: Bagdogra / NJP – Gangtok (120 KMS/4 HRS)
Welcome on arriving at Bagdogra Airport you will be greeted by AMT’s representative. After warm greetings proceed to Gangtok. The capital of Sikkim situated at an altitude of 5,410 ft is a base for exploring other parts of Sikkim. Initially established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site promising of the best monasteries & landscapes. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the evening you could explore MG Marg Market. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir Excursion – Nathula Pass (Indo China Border)
Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is perched between the mountains at a dizzying height of 12400 ft above sea level situated on the Gangtok – Nathula Highway. Enveloped by steep snow capped mountains which bound you to leave in awe by its Charming Beauty. The Lake is oval shaped & is nearly 50 feet deep. Oftenly covered in snow throughout the year. This lake is home to the Brahminy ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all. Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional tour – Later in the evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note: Only Indian citizens are allowed for Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass.

Day 03 – Gangtok Sightseeing and transfer to Pelling (120 km/4 hours)
After a filling breakfast, start the half day city tour, which covers the Bakthang Falls, Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten and the Institute of Tibetology, which has the largest collection of Tibetan manuscripts and books on Buddhist philosophy. Later in the afternoon proceed to Pelling. Check in at the hotel followed by overnight stay in Pelling

Day 04 – Pelling – Darjeeling (80 km/3 hours)
Have a wholesome breakfast and proceed sighseeing of some intresting places in Pelling. This includes the Rimbi Falls, the Kanchenjunga Falls and the Khecheopalri Lake. Later in the afternoon, transfer to Darjeeling. Darjeeling famous for its lush green hills, beautiful serene monasteries, tea plantations and the amazing toy train provides a refreshing experience to the visitors. After arriving at Darjeeling check in at the hotel. In the evening explore the famous Mall Road of Darjeeling. Later return to hotel followed by overnight stay.

Day 05: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early in the morning (4 AM), go to Tiger Hills to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga. Also visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel followed by half day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N.Zoological Garden (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-help Centre (closed on Sunday) and visit to the Mall and local market (closed on Thursday). Evening Free for shopping & individual activity. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 06: Darjeeling – Bagdogra / NJP (80 KMS/3 HRS)
Have some delicious breakfast and then leave for Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. Your arrival at the Airport / Railway station will mark the end of the tour. Tour concludes with everlasting memories of Sikkim & services of Amaze My Trip.
