Ahmedabad

Dwarka

Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is located in Dwarka, Gujarat. Devotees from all over the world come here to visit this temple. Nageswar Mahadev
The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlingas or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who manifested himself in that form in different parts of India. This shiva shrine near Dwarka is one of these and is there- fore accorded great respect.

Rukmani Temple

Bet Dwarka
Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, Bet Dwarka is only 5 kms from Okha Junction in sea and Okha is 30 kms from Dwarka. It is said to be the place where Lord Krishna lived with his family when the ruled at Dwarka. It is also the place where Vishnu slew the demon Shankhasura. Somnath Temple
It is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The temple has its own importance in Hindu mythology which makes it one of the most engaged places to visit in Gujarat.

Sasan Gir National Park
Gir National Park situated in Sasan Gir is a sole home of the Asiatic Lion. Other than Asiatic lions Gir National Park also comprises of Indian leopard, jungle cat, striped hyena, Golden jackal, Indian gray mongoose and Ruddy mongoose etc. For the animal lovers this place will prove the best places to visit in Gujarat. Sasan Gir is about 70 Kms from Somnath. A permit is needed to visit Sasan Gir.

Statue of Unity
Already credited as the World's Tallest Statue, Statue of Unity is a masterpiece of Gujarat. Situated near the banks of Narmada Rivers offers a deep respect to Sradar Vallabh Bhai Patel. It is one of the most recommended places to visit in Gujarat.
