Badrinath Yatra is a sacred visit to Badrinath Temple. Badrinath Temple is a Hindu Temple situated at a height of 10,279 ft. above sea level in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand. Badrinath Yatra has its own importance as Badrinath Temple is one of the site in Chardham Yatra others are Dwarka, Puri & Rameshwaram. Badrintah Temple is also forms Chardham Yatra or Chota Chardham Yatra. Badrinath temple is situated at the bank of river Alaknanda is dedicated to Lord Visnu. The temple is approximately 50 ft (15 m) tall with a small dome on top, covered with a gold gilt roof. The front is built of stone, with arched windows. A broad stairway leads up to a tall arched gateway, which is the main entrance.According to the tradition, Dharam had two sons, Nar, and Narayan—both of which are modern names of Himalayan mountains. They chose the place to spread their religion and each of them wed the spacious valleys in the Himalayas. Searching for an ideal place to set up a hermitage, they came across the other four Badris of the Pancha Badri, namely Bridha Badri, Yog Bhadri, Dhyan Badri and Bhavish Badri. They finally found the hot and cold spring behind the Alaknanda River and named it Badri Vishal.
Due to extreme weather conditions Badrinath Temple remains open only for 6 months from April End to November End. Thus one can only access the Badrinath Yatra during April to November.

Day 1: Haridwar/Dehradun – Pipalkoti (250 KMS/9 HRS)
In the morning after arriving at Haridwar Railway Station you will be greeted by AMT’s representative for your Badrinath Yatra. Haridwar is called the “Gateway of Chardham”. After warm greetings proceed to Pipalkoti. The road is full of lush green beauty of the Himalayas with some breathing view of the valleys. Reach Pipalkoti by evening & check in at the hotel. Later overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Pipalkoti – Badrinath (80 KMS/3 HRS)
This the after breakfast proceed to Badrinath Temple. After arriving at Badrinath Temple take a holy bath at Tapt Kund and then go for the Darshan of Badrivishal Brahma kapal. After darshan proceed to visit Mana village The last village of India. Also visit Vyas Gufa a place where Ved Vyas had written the epic Mahabharat with the help of Lord Ganesh. Later return back to Badrinath for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Badrinath – Srinagar (190 KMS/6-7 HRS)
Early morning take darshan of Shree Badri Vishal. Later return to hotel & after breakfast check out from the hotel. Drive straight to Srinagar. After arriving at Srinagar check in at your pre booked hotel followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Srinagar – Haridwar/Dehradun (145 KMS/5 HRS)
After fruitful breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Haridwar for the drop. Your arrival at the Haridwar Railway Station will mark the end of your Badrinath Yatra & services of AMT with everlasting memories.
